DARK VANITY ACID is now on hiatus in 2009. Their last show was on Halloween of 2007. DVA has been on hiatus since 2007, but that's really the story of all of these bands. Most of their entire career now has been 1 long hiatus after the next. Blame it on Exist, because Stevie has been ready to rock since day 1 & has run the Stevie Hayes Records (SHR=) Dictatorship since 2002, & invented GUTTER-CORE, the new mainstream in 1997...........In the beginning, in 2001-2002 Exist's 1st excuse was, he did not want to play out w/o a bassist, because it was not powerful enough for him. That's why we formed the Big Bang. Then it always became, no full band could ever stay together & lots of drugs, mental problems, full band breakups got in the way. Now since 2007 on, Exists excuse for Dark Vanity Acid has been, now Exist wants to be signed to a large Indie, or Major label, before Dark Vanity Acid is to play out ever again. (Which is the smartest of the ideas Exist has had now), however, Meanwhile all along Stevie Hayes has been like Ted Nugent, the only drug free & ruthless business man of anyone anywhere, constantly out spreading this shit all over the country & world, making the contacts, that is spreading all original music / art creations (GUTTER-CORE), Stevie's original invention, THE NEW MAINSTREAM, super dedicated, more than anyone that just wants to rock, lots of money, & just wants pussy, tits, & ass. ((((also like fucking sex w/ a brick wall, because everyone, everywhere has their foot/money$$$ up their ass, and everyone everywhere wants homoginized, flavorless, diet, lo-fat, light, garbage)))))

Dark Vanity Acid performed some of their 1st & last shows, supposedly in 2007. Ritual Static performed their first shows in 2001 & 2002. Ritual Static turned into The Big Bang in the fall of 2002. The Big Bang ended by 2003 & Ritual Static picked back up in 2004 but broke up after their first studio album in March 2004. Ritual Static turned into Dark Vanity Acid in 2004 winter.
